2 - Always be careful of who you trust.

Now, years later, Cass is a local dive instructor alongside the Permanents, a group of expats who have claimed the island as their own. The Permanents don't linger on who they were before the island. Simply because, like Cass, they all have something to outrun.

3 – If someone discovers who you really are, run.

But suddenly, a dive student is found dead and paradise comes crashing down. Because this isn't the first mysterious death on the island, and it won't be the last. Someone knows who Cass is and they're ready to make sure justice is finally served.

My Thoughts:

This is such a fun and summery thriller! A quick and entertaining read that had me flying through this one (I read it in two sittings).

The two MCs, Cass & Brooke, were both interesting in their own ways. There were so many little small mysteries going on at the same time as the big one (girls ending up dead on this small island resort). The chapters were short and always ended with a little bit of a cliffhanger which had me flying though this one to see what would happen next.

I love a thriller that catches me off guard with the ending and this one did just that! I had an inkling of where I thought it was going but then I never would have guessed what really went down.

Many other people have said the EPILOGUE is everything and I agree. Oches better give us some deets on this or else I might riot because I NEED to know.

If you are looking for a fun, summery island thriller to bring to the beach or to pretend you are at the beach in the winter - then pick this one up! I was thoroughly entertained the entire time and didn't want to quit reading!
